Laminated peelable shims

Peelable or laminated shims are used to accurately adjust or balance components or devices during assembly, e.g. machinery, pumps, plant systems, etc. The shim's thickness can be altered quickly and easily during assembly by simply peeling of one or more thin layers with a sharp knife.

This provides a high degree of precision and significant time savings. ZORGE produces custom, peelable shims from aluminium, brass, stainless steel, steel, titanium and various composites. Depending on the material you need, we can generally meet demand from our own stock.
